Sometimes, the easiest way to explain what we do is simply to show you.
So, welcome to our very first Wonder Show & Tell; a little sneak peek at some of the products, resources and ideas that have been making their way through The Wonder Company studio.
From activity books and magazines to games, creative packs and completely bespoke concepts, there’s quite a mix.
But there’s one thing they all have in common: They’ve been designed to get children to actually engage.
We don't just make activity books...
...although we do make some pretty brilliant ones.
We work with organisations to take an idea, message, place, programme or objective and turn it into something tangible that children want to pick up, explore and interact with.
That might mean helping a council engage children during the school holidays. It might be creating an activity experience for families staying at a hotel or resort. It could be helping a charity communicate an important message, giving a sports organisation something brilliant to put into children's hands, or creating an entirely new product from an idea that's been sitting on someone's wish list.
Sometimes the answer is a book. Sometimes it's a pack, game, challenge, journal, magazine or box. And sometimes it starts with someone saying: “We've got an idea… but we're not quite sure what to do with it.” Those are some of our favourite conversations.

What you're seeing is just a snapshot of the work that comes through our studio.
Some products have been designed for thousands of children. Others have been created for a very specific audience, age group or objective. And that's an important part of what we do.
We don't believe children's engagement should be an afterthought, or that the same generic colouring sheet works for every child from four to sixteen.
We think about who you're trying to reach, what you want them to take away and what will make them genuinely want to get involved. Then we create around that.
The interesting bit? What could we create for you?
This Show & Tell isn't really about showing off what's already been made. It's about showing what's possible, because the next product on that table could start with your organisation. Perhaps you've got a programme you want more children to engage with; a story you want to bring to life; a venue where the family experience could be better; an important message you need to communicate? Or perhaps you simply know you want to do something for children and families, but you don't know what that something should be yet. That's where we come in.
We're publishers with purpose. We turn ideas, stories and important messages into creative resources children want to engage with for organisations across the UK.
