This summer, thousands of children across the country got stuck into our Food Explorer Quest activity books — learning, laughing, and playing their way to healthier habits.
But what did providers think?

We asked for feedback, and here’s what you told us:
How much did the children enjoy and engage with the book? “A lot.” Kids loved the mix of puzzles, educational info, and hands-on challenges.
Did the book help children learn more about food, nutrition, or making healthy choices? “Yes, definitely.” From balanced diets to fun food facts, the learning stuck.
How easy was the book to use and deliver within your sessions? “Easy.” No prep, no stress — just open, share, and go.
Did the book support your goals (HAF outcomes, participation, keeping children engaged)? “Strongly supported.” The content aligned perfectly with providers’ aims.
Overall usefulness (1 = not at all, 10 = perfectly aligned with HAF objectives)? 9/10!
We’re thrilled to see the impact these books made, and we’re already working on ways to make future editions even better.
Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback — it’s your insight that helps us keep creating resources that truly work.
