Bringing STEM to Life: The WES Lottie Tour
The Wonder Company teamed up with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) to launch the Lottie Tour Activity Book. Our mission? To spark curiosity and show children that engineering is for everyone.
“We wanted children to see engineering as something they can play with, explore, and belong in.”
What we handled:
WES needed a fresh, accessible way to introduce younger audiences to STEM careers. The goal was to break stereotypes—especially for girls—and make engineering feel like a playful adventure.
For KS2 learners:
We needed a resource that felt welcoming for children, while providing educators and families with practical, ready-to-use activities for any setting.
The Challenge
The Wonder Tool
What we created:
- Hands-on STEM activities using everyday items
- Interactive learning challenges & story-led exploration
- Creative, child-friendly design for KS2
Why it works:
We managed everything from content development to production. The result? A tool that feels like play but delivers deep learning.
The Outcome
Now in schools UK-wide, the book is transforming how children see their futures. We’ve successfully:
- Sparked curiosity and confidence in young learners
- Broken down STEM stereotypes through storytelling
- Equipped educators with easy-to-use tools
